Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Valid state licensure as required for practice
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI imaging preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to operate MRI equipment and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and manage time effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare patients for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Monitor and maintain equipment functionality, reporting any issues as needed
  • Ensure thorough and accurate imaging documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Uphold all safety and infection control standards specific to an MRI suite
  • Remain current with required certifications and participate in continuing education
