Step into an advanced imaging environment specializing in MRI technology with this contract opportunity. This role is ideal for skilled MRI Technologists who thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused setting and are seeking a defined 13-week engagement starting on 10/28/24.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- No on-call requirements
- No holiday shifts
Required Experience & Credentials:
- Completion of a formal program from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current New York State licensure
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Proficiency in MRI scanning procedures and safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians or clinical staff
- Assess patient documentation and safety prior to scans, ensuring compliance with departmental protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging services
- Regularly inspect equipment to ensure peak performance and report any technical issues promptly
