Begin an engaging contract opportunity working with advanced imaging technology alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This position focuses on MRI imaging, utilizing your expert skills to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. Two positions are available, with a start date of October 28th, 2024, for a 13-week assignment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- No on-call requirement
- No holidays
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Active and current New York State licensure as required
- ARRT certification in MRI
- Demonstrated experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical healthcare setting
- Commitment to patient safety and comfort, with excellent interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and adherence to safety guidelines
- Accurately document patient histories, procedure details, and image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal imaging results
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needs for service
- Ensure a safe, sanitized environment by following infection control and departmental policies
