Looking for an experienced MRI professional to play a pivotal role in a dynamic imaging department. Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent credential required
  • Minimum of one year’s experience performing MRI scans in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and physics
  • Proficient with MRI equipment operation and imaging software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations
  • CPR or BLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations according to departmental procedures and physician instructions
  • Prepare and position patients, thoroughly explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols for each patient
  • Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging findings in the system
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and exam rooms
  • Follow strict safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and staff from potential hazards
  • Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuum of care
