Skilled MRI Technologists have an exciting contract opportunity beginning October 28th, 2024. This 13-week assignment involves providing advanced imaging services and patient care in a collaborative hospital environment focused on imaging excellence.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • No on-call hours required
  • No holiday shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Active New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to MRI and radiologic procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both patients and healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and safety throughout scanning procedures
  • Update and document patient records and imaging results using medical information systems
  • Educate patients about scans, addressing their questions and providing comfort during procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and optimal functioning of MRI equipment and exam rooms
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
