Skilled MRI Technologists have an exciting contract opportunity beginning October 28th, 2024. This 13-week assignment involves providing advanced imaging services and patient care in a collaborative hospital environment focused on imaging excellence.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- No on-call hours required
- No holiday shifts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Active New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to MRI and radiologic procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both patients and healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and safety throughout scanning procedures
- Update and document patient records and imaging results using medical information systems
- Educate patients about scans, addressing their questions and providing comfort during procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and optimal functioning of MRI equipment and exam rooms
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
