Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Proven proficiency with MRI equipment operation and safety protocols
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging techniques, and digital radiography systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred

Schedule:

  • Shifts and hours vary based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout exams
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment with precision and attention to patient wellbeing
  • Monitor and document patient condition during exams, reporting concerns as necessary
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control policies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
  • Assist with quality assurance initiatives and routine equipment maintenance
  • Provide reassuring, professional support to patients of all backgrounds
