Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Proficient knowledge of operating MRI equipment and related technology
  • Previous experience in an acute care or hospital imaging department is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and infection prevention procedures
  • Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
  • Valid BLS certification

Schedule/Hours:

  • Must be able to work assigned contract schedule; discuss details during interview

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocol
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
  • Accurately review and verify physician orders and patient identification before each scan
  • Maintain proper documentation of procedures, images, and patient records
  • Work closely with radiologists and other clinical staff to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions for timely resolution
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and facility confidentiality regulations
