Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
- Proficient knowledge of operating MRI equipment and related technology
- Previous experience in an acute care or hospital imaging department is highly preferred
- Familiarity with safety protocols and infection prevention procedures
- Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
- Valid BLS certification
Schedule/Hours:
- Must be able to work assigned contract schedule; discuss details during interview
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocol
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Accurately review and verify physician orders and patient identification before each scan
- Maintain proper documentation of procedures, images, and patient records
- Work closely with radiologists and other clinical staff to achieve optimal imaging results
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions for timely resolution
- Adhere to all HIPAA and facility confidentiality regulations
