An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to provide vital imaging services on a contract basis. For 13 weeks, you’ll play an essential role in a dynamic healthcare setting, working with advanced imaging equipment and multidisciplinary professionals.
Schedule:
- 5x8 hour shifts
- Day shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
- Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Demonstrated experience operating Hitachi 128 MRI equipment
- Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Operate and maintain Hitachi 128 MRI equipment to achieve optimal image clarity
- Accurately document imaging procedures and clinical data in accordance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Observe infection control guidelines and adhere to facility safety regulations
