Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered or registry-eligible MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent certification preferred)
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technology program
- Prior experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process
- Monitor patients during scans and recognize any signs of distress or adverse reactions
- Review images for clarity, ensuring technical quality before submitting to radiologists
- Maintain accurate records, including documentation of procedures and patient interactions
- Follow hospital protocols for infection control and equipment maintenance
- Provide clear explanations to patients and answer questions regarding the imaging process
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for efficient patient management
