MRI Technologist | Pompano Beach, Florida

An exciting opportunity is available for an MRI Technologist skilled in advanced imaging to provide coverage on a 13-week contract. This position requires flexibility, as assignment may rotate between day and evening 8-hour shifts (five days per week). Your scheduled hours will be provided in advance, supporting work-life balance and allowing for personal planning. The role will involve floating to multiple locations across the Stuart and Treasure Coast areas, ensuring no two days are alike and offering a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification (with demonstrated injection experience for ARMRIT)
• Proficiency with Siemens, Philips, and Hitachi Oasis MRI equipment
• Experience in MRI diagnostic imaging, emphasizing safe and quality patient care
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Flexibility and willingness to float between multiple site locations
• Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (days or evenings, rotating)
• Schedule shared in advance

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans as ordered by providers, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens, Philips, and Hitachi Oasis MRI units
• Safely administer contrast media as required by protocol (must be experienced in injections)
• Accurately document and maintain patient records and imaging logs
• Adhere to hospital policies and radiologic safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Float between designated facilities as needed
