MRI Technologist | Portland, Oregon

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shift, 24 hours per week
• Wednesday: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Thursday: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Participation in on-call rotation (weekday nights 11:00 pm – 5:30 am and weekends, based on your availability/preference)

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(MR) certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proven skills in performing MRI scans and familiarity with established safety protocols
• Detail-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and schedules
• Commitment to patient comfort and high-quality imaging standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Verify patient information, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the process
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Follow imaging protocols and strictly adhere to safety guidelines for both patients and staff
• Accurately document and report imaging results and maintain proper equipment operation
• Respond to on-call needs within the defined rotation as determined by your availability
