Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time hours, with flexible shift options
- May include some evenings or weekends as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary team members
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience in hospital or outpatient imaging preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to established protocols
- Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality images are captured for diagnostic interpretation
- Document patient history and procedure details accurately in medical records
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations
- Provide support and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging process
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings as requested
