MRI Technologist - Prattville, AL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and managing imaging procedures
• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient positioning
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare facility is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the process
• Monitor imaging results for clarity and accuracy, identifying areas requiring additional imaging if necessary
• Document imaging procedures and patient information in electronic health records
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations regarding magnetisms and contrast agents
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain cleaning, stocking, and routine maintenance of imaging room and equipment
