Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent credential
• Previous experience as an MRI technologist within a hospital or imaging center
• Proficiency with MRI equipment, protocols, and safety procedures
• Thorough understanding of anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques
• Ability to assess and address patient needs, ensuring a calm and supportive experience
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient history and scan details in electronic medical records
• Prepare and position patients appropriately while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout each procedure
• Regularly inspect and maintain MRI equipment, following departmental quality control and infection prevention standards
• Collaborate closely with radiologists for optimal imaging results and timely patient care
• Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed
