Join a dynamic healthcare environment as an MRI Technologist in Prospect, KY, providing essential imaging services to acute inpatient and neuro patients. This contract opportunity offers a focused schedule and the chance to work with advanced Siemens MRI equipment in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans primarily on neuro patients including spine, stroke, and head trauma cases.
  • Support imaging needs of student athletes.
  • Deliver excellent patient care with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, MRI techs, and tech assistants to ensure efficient imaging workflow.
  • Utilize EMR systems, ideally Cerner, for accurate documentation.
  • Work predominantly the 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Thursday schedule.
  • Provide imaging services independently during some shifts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient MRI experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • National MRI Certification through ARRT (MR) or AMRIT.
  • Kentucky state license required unless grandfathered in.
  • Strong skills in neuro imaging and patient care.
  • Ability to work confidently during overnight shifts, sometimes independently.
  • Familiarity with Siemens Sola and Verio MRI machines is preferred.

  • Weekend rotation and holiday coverage are scheduled as needed.
  • Orientation includes a two-week new employee onboarding specific to this department.
  • Scrub color is Ceil Blue.
  • Locals within 50 miles of Louisville are not eligible to apply.
  • This is a contract role ideal for candidates open to travel positions.
