Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans primarily on neuro patients including spine, stroke, and head trauma cases.
- Support imaging needs of student athletes.
- Deliver excellent patient care with a positive and professional attitude.
- Collaborate with radiologists, MRI techs, and tech assistants to ensure efficient imaging workflow.
- Utilize EMR systems, ideally Cerner, for accurate documentation.
- Work predominantly the 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Thursday schedule.
- Provide imaging services independently during some shifts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient MRI experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- National MRI Certification through ARRT (MR) or AMRIT.
- Kentucky state license required unless grandfathered in.
- Strong skills in neuro imaging and patient care.
- Ability to work confidently during overnight shifts, sometimes independently.
- Familiarity with Siemens Sola and Verio MRI machines is preferred.
