A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services. This role involves operating MRI equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images that assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans following established protocols and safety standards
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring comfort
  • Manage MRI equipment maintenance and monitor for technical issues
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate imaging results
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines, including patient identification and procedure verification

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in MRI or credentials from ARMRIT are accepted
  • Proven experience as an MRI Technologist with knowledge of MRI safety and procedures
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment proficiently
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Location: Providence, Rhode Island
