Deliver expert MRI imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment, utilizing advanced technology and supporting a diverse patient population. This position seeks a skilled MRI technologist who demonstrates confidence in neuro, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal imaging, while adeptly managing patients with various implanted devices. Siemens Aera 1.5T experience and proficiency with complex clinical cases are highly valued.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour night shifts per week (9:00 pm – 7:30 am)
  • Rotating weekends as part of the shift pattern

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid BLS certification
  • ARRT(MR) registration or ARMRIT certification required
  • Demonstrated experience with Siemens MRI equipment, specifically Aera 1.5T
  • Advanced skillset in neuro imaging, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal studies preferred
  • Competence in scanning patients with multiple implanted devices
  • Adaptability, a commitment to patient safety, and strong critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Assess patient needs and ensure comfort and safety, particularly with complex device placements
  • Prepare patients for imaging, review medical histories, and confirm screening for MRI safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to guarantee optimal imaging results
  • Accurately document procedures, report findings as directed, and comply with regulatory standards
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, adhering to quality assurance protocols
  • Contribute to a supportive and professional clinical atmosphere, even during high-acuity or overnight shifts
