This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and calls for an experienced professional skilled in advanced imaging, with a schedule of five evening shifts each week (3:00pm to 11:30pm) and rotating weekends.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification required
- Certified through ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
- Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment, specifically the Aera 1.5
- Advanced clinical experience in neuro imaging, body imaging, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) studies preferred
- Capable of safely scanning patients with multiple implanted devices
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment with precision, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Follow all facility protocols to maintain safety and deliver optimal patient care
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in accordance with compliance standards
- Tailor scanning techniques for patients with various implanted devices, ensuring safety and image clarity
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to facilitate a seamless workflow
- Communicate clearly with patients, providing instructions and easing concerns related to the imaging process
