MRI Technologist - Providence, RI

This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and requires an imaging professional proficient in MRI, with advanced technical expertise and the ability to deliver quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts, nights: 9:00pm – 7:30am
• Rotating weekends

Key Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(MR) certification or ARMRIT accepted
• BLS certification required
• Proven experience operating Siemens Aera 1.5 MRI equipment
• Advanced experience in neuro imaging, body imaging, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) scanning
• Skilled in working with patients with multiple implanted devices
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative imaging team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols and safety standards
• Accurately position patients and adapt imaging parameters to individual diagnostic needs
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely imaging records and reports
• Ensure patient comfort and safety, monitoring for contraindications and responding to inquiries or concerns
• Adjust exam techniques for special circumstances, including patients with implants or devices
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed
