Qualifications:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Experience operating MRI imaging equipment in a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety protocols
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate clearly with individuals of diverse backgrounds
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support), or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality imaging studies

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging, thoroughly explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all stages of the scan
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results
• Adhere to established safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions when necessary
• Document patient information and imaging outcomes in electronic health records

$3,025 - $3,200/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
