MRI Technologist | Providence, Rhode Island

Step into a crucial role in the imaging department, supporting high-quality MRI diagnostics on a dedicated third shift schedule. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is perfect for professionals with advanced MRI skills and experience working with diverse patient populations.

Schedule:

• 3rd shift, four 10-hour shifts weekly, 9:00pm–7:30am
• Includes participation in holiday and weekend rotations

Qualifications:

• Valid certification: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens MRI systems required
• Advanced experience performing neuro imaging, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) studies
• Skilled in safely scanning patients with multiple implanted devices

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders, focusing on accuracy and patient safety
• Communicate effectively with patients, addressing concerns related to procedures and comfort
• Collaborate closely with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to deliver excellent patient care and optimized workflows
• Maintain safety standards, particularly when imaging patients with implanted or electronic devices
• Complete required documentation, ensuring adherence to medical and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist in maintaining proper function of MRI technology

$3,025 - $3,200/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
