Schedule/Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, 2:30–11:00pm
  • Week 1: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat
  • Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, following precise imaging protocols
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced MRI equipment, consistently ensuring diagnostic-quality images
  • Perform MRI procedures for clinical and research purposes, including contrast and non-contrast exams
  • Insert IV catheters and administer MR contrast agents, monitoring for and managing potential reactions
  • Complete all documentation in the EMR; conduct point-of-care testing as required
  • Promote MRI safety, instruct patients/visitors, and perform safety checks prior to scanning
  • Rotate between MRI scanners across assigned department locations as needed
  • Support quality assurance by performing scheduled equipment checks and documenting results

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Medical Imaging Program (certificate/diploma required)
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • BLS certification (within 90 days)
  • Advanced MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 12 months of hire
