Experienced MRI Technologists are sought for a contract opportunity to support imaging services within a clinical setting. This position focuses on providing high-quality MRI scans to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, while ensuring the safety and comfort of all individuals under your care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
  • Previous experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Proficiency with operating MRI equipment and following proper imaging protocols
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in preparing and reviewing imaging results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and medical staff
  • Ability to maintain strict safety standards regarding MRI equipment and patient care
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI examinations according to physician orders and protocols
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain each step to ensure comfort and compliance
  • Operate MRI scanners safely, adjusting equipment and positioning patients as needed
  • Monitor image quality and troubleshoot minor technical issues as required
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals on image interpretation and workflow
  • Uphold cleanliness and infection control standards within the imaging suite
