Key Qualifications:

• Certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and related imaging technology
• Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, including screening for contraindications and contrast administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive patient experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of MRI imaging examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring the highest standards of image quality and patient safety
• Explain procedures to patients, assess needs and comfort, and minimize anxiety during the imaging process
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast materials, immediately reporting concerns to clinical staff
• Operate MRI scanners and accessory equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
• Adhere to all facility protocols regarding infection prevention, equipment sterilization, and radiation safety
• Maintain organized and thorough electronic medical records, accurately documenting each procedure
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to workflow enhancements and sharing best practices with colleagues
