MRI Technologist in Quincy, MA

Exciting opportunity available for a skilled MRI Technologist in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to support accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in all facets of MRI imaging.

Schedule:

• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience
• Expertise in imaging procedures using up-to-date MRI equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• BLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality images safely and efficiently
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain instructions to ensure comfort and compliance
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to optimize image quality and exam appropriateness
• Review and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health system
• Adhere to facility safety protocols and infection control standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment or patient imaging, as needed

$2,422 - $2,650/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
