Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current certification in MRI (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
- Active, unrestricted registration/licensure as required
- Demonstrated proficiency operating MRI equipment and performing imaging protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Commitment to safety standards, including use of protective equipment and adherence to all compliance protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Monitor patients during imaging exams, providing clear instructions and responding to inquiries
- Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure data privacy
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff to optimize imaging quality and patient care
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as required
- Stay informed on advancements in MRI technology and healthcare best practices
