Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Completion of an accredited MRI training program
  • Previous experience operating MRI scanners in a clinical environment
  • Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols for patients and staff
  • Ability to position patients and select proper imaging parameters
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and imaging software

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible hours based on the contract's requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician specifications and established protocols
  • Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing safety screening and providing clear instructions
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and equipment functionality
  • Apply radiation safety standards and infection control practices at all times
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other health professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical imaging issues

$2,710 - $2,867/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
