Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- No on-call rotations
- No holiday shifts
Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal program from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current New York State licensure in radiologic technology
- Active ARRT (Radiography) certification
- Recent experience performing MRI procedures using advanced imaging systems
- Detail-oriented with strong patient care and safety focus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging
- Prepare and position patients, providing clear instructions and support throughout exams
- Document imaging procedures and patient data accurately in healthcare records
- Maintain and monitor equipment for optimal performance, arranging for service as necessary
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal care
- Adhere to all policies, regulations, and compliance standards related to MRI safety and patient confidentiality
