Expand your impact in diagnostic imaging as an MRI technologist with a contract role starting October 28, 2024, lasting 13 weeks. This opportunity provides stability and a predictable schedule in a professional healthcare setting.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • No on-call rotations
  • No holiday shifts

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal program from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Current New York State licensure in radiologic technology
  • Active ARRT (Radiography) certification
  • Recent experience performing MRI procedures using advanced imaging systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong patient care and safety focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging
  • Prepare and position patients, providing clear instructions and support throughout exams
  • Document imaging procedures and patient data accurately in healthcare records
  • Maintain and monitor equipment for optimal performance, arranging for service as necessary
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal care
  • Adhere to all policies, regulations, and compliance standards related to MRI safety and patient confidentiality
