MRI Technologist - Saint George, UT

Seeking a skilled professional to perform MRI imaging as part of a dynamic healthcare team. This contract opportunity offers an engaging work environment in advanced diagnostic imaging.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, nights

Qualifications:

• ARRT registered technologist
• Active Utah State Licensure (for positions in Utah) to administer prescription medications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Experience working as an MRI Technologist with strong knowledge of MRI protocols and safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interact compassionately with patients
• Ability to work effectively during night shifts and collaborate with other clinical staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images based on physician orders
• Prepare, position, and care for patients before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure image quality and adhere to established protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all performed imaging studies
• Monitor equipment performance and work with maintenance staff as necessary
• Practice safety guidelines for both patients and staff, including screening for contraindications and using proper shielding techniques
• Communicate clearly and professionally with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
