MRI Technician | Saint George, Utah

Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to provide top-quality imaging services on a contract basis. This opportunity focuses on providing exceptional patient care through advanced MRI imaging techniques in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Night shifts

Qualifications:

• ARRT registered technologist
• Current Utah State Licensure to administer RX (specific to positions in Utah)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment and performing scans
• Strong patient communication and care skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety throughout imaging processes
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Uphold departmental workflow and safety standards, including infection control
• Assist with patient transport and provide compassionate support during scans
