Seeking a skilled professional to perform MRI imaging as part of a dynamic healthcare team. This contract opportunity offers an engaging work environment in advanced diagnostic imaging.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, nights
Qualifications:
- ARRT registered technologist
- Active Utah State Licensure (for positions in Utah) to administer prescription medications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Experience working as an MRI Technologist with strong knowledge of MRI protocols and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interact compassionately with patients
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts and collaborate with other clinical staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images based on physician orders
- Prepare, position, and care for patients before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure image quality and adhere to established protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all performed imaging studies
- Monitor equipment performance and work with maintenance staff as necessary
- Practice safety guidelines for both patients and staff, including screening for contraindications and using proper shielding techniques
- Communicate clearly and professionally with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
