MRI Technologist in Saint George, UT

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Nights

Qualifications:

• ARRT registered technologist
• Current Utah State Licensure to administer RX (required for MRI technologists practicing in Utah)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Proven experience in MRI imaging with a strong understanding of patient safety protocols and imaging procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and patient care

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and standardized protocols, ensuring the highest quality imaging
• Prepare and position patients, providing thorough explanations of procedures and addressing questions or concerns to ensure comfort and safety
• Operate MRI equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and adjust settings as needed to optimize image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members for coordinated patient care
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines
• Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or concerns
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
