Role Overview
As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in a Level III Trauma Center facility with 286 staffed beds. This position specifically seeks professionals skilled in MRI imaging, with responsibilities that directly impact patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Schedule/Hours

• 5x8-hour shifts: 12:30pm – 9:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Occasional on-call required: Evenings and weekends on rotation
• Possible weekend coverage if on call
• Facility closes up to one shift every two weeks, as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Expertise operating Philips MRI equipment
• Prior travel assignment experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate MRI scans and ensure image quality
• Collaborate proactively with providers and nursing staff
• Adhere to all safety and patient care protocols
• Maintain meticulous documentation within Epic charting
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Demonstrate flexibility during hurricane season; readiness for emergency response is essential
