Pediatric Cardiac MRI Tech Travel Job in San Diego, CA

Soliant Health seeks to hire a skilled and dedicated MRI tech for a 13 week travel assignment in San Diego, California. 

Applicants cannot apply unless they have experience working as a cardiac MRI tech in a pediatric setting. 

All applicants who only have experience working as an MRI tech in a regular hospital setting are ineligible to apply. 

Key Responsibilities and Imaging & Protocols:

• Perform specialized cardiac MRI procedures, including congenital heart disease protocols, following strict imaging guidelines.
• Patient Care & Safety: Prepare young patients, explain procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure safety from magnetic hazards (using metal detectors).Image Optimization: 
• Position patients for optimal imaging, troubleshoot image quality, and use advanced imaging techniques.
• Work with anesthesiology or nursing teams to monitor sedated or anesthetized pediatric patients during long scans.
• Documentation: Review medical history, process images for physician review, and maintain accurate patient records.

Required:

• State of California Radiology license
• ARRT or ARMRIT
• 1+ year of experience as a cardiac MRI tech 
• 1+ year of pediatric MRI experience
• Ability to start an assignment in 2-3 weeks.
