An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to support a dedicated imaging team with a contract assignment. The position involves delivering high-quality MRI services, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and maintaining patient safety and comfort in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour night shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Utah State Licensure, authorizing administration of RX
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Review patient histories, confirm procedure orders, and explain processes to patients while ensuring comfort and safety
- Position patients accurately and monitor imaging equipment for quality assurance
- Apply safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues from unnecessary exposure
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging results
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records according to facility standards
- Respond promptly to patient needs and address concerns with professionalism and compassion
