Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating MRI equipment and related imaging systems
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience optimizing image quality while minimizing patient exposure to risk
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with an emphasis on patient care
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders, protocols, and safety guidelines
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate patient records and complete all documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment; coordinate troubleshooting and repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver precise, timely imaging services
  • Monitor and adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
