Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
• Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credentials required
• Valid radiologic technologist license for New York (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong proficiency with MRI equipment and protocols
• Understanding of safety practices related to magnetic resonance imaging
• Excellent patient interaction skills with the ability to provide clear instructions
• Attention to detail in imaging and patient documentation
• Prior contract or hospital imaging experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures following safety protocols
• Review requisitions and consult with medical staff regarding testing protocols
• Monitor and ensure the safety of patients throughout their scans
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and outcomes thoroughly
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Perform regular equipment checks and report any concerns to maintenance or supervisory staff
• Stay current with MRI best practices and continuing education as required
