Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital environment.
- In-depth knowledge of current imaging protocols and patient safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Current BLS certification required.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Screen patients for contraindications and explain the imaging process clearly.
- Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and report abnormalities as directed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with technical support when necessary.
