Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT(MR) certification (or eligibility)
  • Active state licensure as required for MRI practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptability to various hospital workflows and patient populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images according to physician orders
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Review and verify physician orders, patient histories, and exam requisitions
  • Maintain accurate records and document results appropriately
  • Troubleshoot equipment and report issues promptly
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other allied health staff
