MRI Technician | Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania

Advance your career in medical imaging by bringing your MRI expertise to a busy clinical setting for a 13-week contract. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services and patient-centered care in a robust radiology department.

Schedule:

• 5x8-hour shifts, nights
• 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Monday through Friday
• Primary need is for consistent third-shift coverage
• Some flexibility may be offered, but third-shift availability is essential
• No on-call responsibility
• Preference for candidates who can assist with holiday coverage if assigned over multiple holidays

Desired Qualifications:

• Current registration through ARRT(MR)
• Active BLS certification
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
• Prior experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical environment
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Strong focus on patient care and safety
• Dependability and willingness to work assigned holidays when necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI exams following established imaging protocols and physician orders
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Accurately position patients and operate Siemens MRI systems
• Evaluate images for technical quality before submitting for interpretation
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
