Schedule/Hours:
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts
- Day shift: 8:30am to 7:00pm
Qualifications:
- Active certification: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Prior experience operating MRI equipment and performing advanced imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, anatomy, and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners and related technology to capture high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures; clearly explain exam processes to ensure comfort and understanding
- Maintain precise documentation and patient records according to facility protocols
- Monitor patient safety throughout each procedure, adhering to best practices and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging outcomes
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues promptly; report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel
