MRI Technologist - Shawnee, KS

Contribute your advanced imaging expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on MRI procedures to deliver precise and compassionate patient care. This position centers around providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services over a 13-week period, utilizing your specialized skills as an MRI Technologist.

Schedule:

• Weekend coverage with two 12-hour day shifts
• Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30 am–6:30 pm
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – MRI [ARRT (MR)]
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proven experience performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on patient safety and clinical accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information
• Document patient information and imaging results efficiently in hospital information systems
• Respond efficiently and empathetically to patient questions and concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, following all safety standards
