Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent certification required)
• Demonstrated proficiency with MRI imaging equipment and safety protocols
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, cross-sectional imaging, and contrast protocol administration
• Current BLS certification
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established guidelines
• Ensure patient safety throughout all imaging examinations, including comprehensive screening and monitoring
• Accurately position patients and select proper imaging parameters for each study
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain all MRI equipment, performing regular quality checks and reporting issues promptly
• Educate and reassure patients, providing clear information about imaging procedures
• Adhere to regulatory standards, departmental protocols, and patient confidentiality requirements
• Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate records within the electronic medical record system
