MRI Technologist - Shelton, CT

This 13-week assignment calls for a motivated MRI technologist well-versed in performing advanced imaging procedures on Siemens Avanto equipment. You’ll provide critical diagnostics for a diverse patient population, working independently without tech support, so autonomy and confidence are essential.

• 4x10s, Days (7:30 am – 6:00 pm)

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R)(MR) credential
• Active registration as an RT, qualified to administer contrast in Connecticut
• Proven experience with Siemens Avanto MRI systems
• Proficient in performing a broad range of MRI scans including neuro, body, musculoskeletal (msk), enterography, and breast imaging
• Confident in starting IVs, with the ability to operate solo during shifts
• Ability to adapt quickly, remain organized, and provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform high-quality MRI studies following physician protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for each exam
• Start IVs and safely administer contrast agents
• Record, verify, and maintain accurate patient and scan documentation
• Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety guidelines for all individuals and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate with radiologists and clinical team as needed

$3,302 - $3,482/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
