A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced medical imaging technologist specializing in MRI, with capabilities in CT and X-ray, at a well-equipped medical center in Shelton, NE. This travel position offers a unique rotational schedule designed for dedicated professionals comfortable managing advanced imaging technology in a Level II trauma setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off
  • Shift begins Thursday 6:30 PM to Wednesday 6:00 AM (varies between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM starts)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Certified in CT and X-ray; certifications are mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; MRI certification preferred but optional
  • Able to perform CT, X-ray (including operating room procedures), and MRI imaging to support emergency, trauma, and neurosurgical patients
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from affiliated healthcare systems; no current employment with CommonSpirit-associated facilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality imaging services including CT, X-ray, and MRI with attention to accuracy and patient care
  • Support trauma and neurosurgical teams by performing specialized imaging of Heads and Spines
  • Adhere to strict patient care policies, including fingernail restrictions to ensure safety and hygiene
