Step into a specialized MRI travel role providing expert imaging care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position offers a focused schedule for nights, with strong departmental support and exposure to a diverse patient mix, including neuro cases and athletic injuries.

Schedule:

  • 9:00pm – 7:30am, Monday through Thursday

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient MRI experience required
  • Open to first-time travelers
  • BLS and ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required
  • Kentucky MRI license or eligible if grandfathered
  • Experience with neuro cases (spine, strokes, head traumas) and student athlete support preferred
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR is a plus
  • Excellent patient care and professional communication skills are essential
  • Positive attitude and ability to work both independently (occasionally solo) and as part of a team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI imaging for an average of 6–7 patients per shift
  • Handle a patient census of approximately 40/day in collaboration with other technologists
  • Deliver high-quality exams, focusing on neuro and acute cases
  • Collaborate with radiologists (available 24/7), tech assistants, and other MRI professionals
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
  • Provide care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards
