A skilled MRI technologist is sought for a contract position in Smyrna, GA, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while supporting patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain clinical histories prior to MRI exams.
  • Administer contrast agents safely, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Operate and calibrate MRI equipment, ensuring image quality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members.
  • Assist with patient positioning, manage sterile techniques, and participate in related diagnostic procedures.
  • Support departmental operations including equipment maintenance, restocking supplies, and patient transport.
  • Adhere to established policies, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited MRI technology program with ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience performing MRI procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and reassure patients throughout the process.
  • Proficiency in MRI pulse sequences, patient positioning, and safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure while collaborating effectively in a team.

Work Schedule:
