Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent required
• Valid and current state license as required for MRI Techs
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols concerning magnetic resonance imaging
• Ability to adapt to new systems and protocols swiftly
• Compassion and a patient-focused approach to care

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans as ordered by referring providers ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort
• Verify patient identities and medical histories prior to procedures
• Prepare and position patients correctly, explaining procedures and addressing questions or concerns
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines regarding equipment, contrast agents, and patient monitoring
• Maintain clear and accurate patient records, including documenting imaging outcomes and observations
• Coordinate workflow efficiently with radiologists, nurses, and other staff
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of MRI equipment and imaging suites
• Participate in ongoing training or competency assessments as required

$2,043 - $2,235/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
