MRI Technologist | Sterling Heights, Michigan

Make an impact in advanced medical imaging as an MRI Technologist on a contract basis. This role offers a dynamic schedule supporting weekday and occasional weekend shifts, allowing you to expand your expertise within a supportive healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9:30 am – 9:30 pm
• Every 4th weekend: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Call: Every 6th weekend with possible afterhours during weekdays (scheduled in advance)

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT – MRI)
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related imaging software
• Previous clinical experience in hospital or imaging center settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient-care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and technical collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters for optimal diagnostic quality
• Maintain proper documentation of procedures and patient information
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for accurate image interpretation
• Maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines
• Adhere to infection control policies and contribute to a clean, safe work environment

$1,790 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
