Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI certified or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in MRI imaging
• Strong understanding of MRI safety practices and procedures
• Proficiency with MRI equipment and related technology
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team
• BLS or CPR certification required
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for MRI scans, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout
• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment according to established protocols
• Monitor images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary
• Maintain precise documentation and patient records
• Assist radiologists and other physicians with image interpretation as needed
• Uphold all safety standards and infection control regulations
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate service calls if necessary
