MRI Technologist - Suttons Bay, MI

Leverage your expertise in MRI technology in a dynamic healthcare environment. A leading facility is seeking a skilled professional to support their medical imaging team for a 13-week contract assignment.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (2pm-10pm, Monday through Friday)
• Evenings only—no weekends, no call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT(MR) certification required OR ARMRIT with a minimum of 3 years’ MRI experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging techniques and patient care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience maintaining a safe and compliant imaging suite according to established protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality MRI scans according to clinician orders and imaging protocols
• Confirm exam information, verify patient identity, and clearly explain procedures to patients
• Position patients appropriately to optimize image clarity and minimize discomfort
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond to urgent situations as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and department staff to ensure timely and accurate study completion
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns
• Follow all regulatory guidelines for patient safety and data privacy
