Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Current state license (if required)
• Proficiency performing MRI scans independently and safely
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols and anatomy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced clinical or hospital environment is preferred
• BLS certification required

Typical Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images in alignment with physician orders
• Prepare and position patients with attention to comfort and safety, explaining procedures clearly
• Evaluate images for clarity and completeness before forwarding to radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in accordance with facility standards
• Monitor equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and promptly report malfunctions
• Uphold infection control, patient privacy, and safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other providers to coordinate the best patient care
