Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credential required
- At least one year of recent MRI experience preferred
- Proficient with advanced MRI equipment and digital imaging systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and care teams
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality imaging and patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients in accordance with physician orders
- Position patients appropriately, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout exams
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all privacy and safety regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical professionals to support high standards of patient care
- Troubleshoot and report equipment issues as needed
- Ensure infection control and regularly maintain imaging areas
