Step into a vital role supporting patient care through excellence in medical imaging. This opportunity is open for a skilled MRI Technologist eager to contribute their expertise for a 13-week contract assignment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5x8 hour shifts, evenings (2pm-10pm)
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends required
- No on-call duties
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT(MR) certification, or ARMRIT with minimum 3 years of experience in MRI
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated competence with advanced MRI procedures and protocols
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, compassionate environment for patients
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and clinical teams to achieve diagnostic goals
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and promptly report malfunctions
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations
- Document procedures and update patient records in accordance with facility standards
