MRI Technologist - Trumbull, Connecticut

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional specializing in MRI. This role involves performing essential diagnostic procedures using Siemens Avanto equipment across a variety of scan types, including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, enterography, and breast imaging.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 4x10s shifts; Days (7:30am - 6:00pm)

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(R)(MR) certification required
• Registered Technologist (RT) eligible to push contrast in Connecticut
• Prior experience with Siemens Avanto MRI equipment preferred
• Strong capability and confidence working independently without a tech aide
• Demonstrated proficiency in starting and managing IV lines
• Experience with a wide variety of MRI studies (neuro, body, MSK, enterography, breasts)
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in fast-paced settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans independently utilizing Siemens Avanto equipment
• Select and implement appropriate protocols for each exam type
• Start, monitor, and manage IVs for contrast administration
• Accurately position patients and ensure safety throughout imaging
• Maintain patient records and uphold compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
• Ensure a comfortable, professional imaging experience for patients
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff as needed

$3,302 - $3,482/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
