MRI Technologist - Trumbull, CT

A skilled MRI Technologist is needed for a contract position with a 13-week duration, specializing in high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role focuses on MRI procedures using Siemens equipment and is essential for supporting accurate patient diagnoses through advanced imaging techniques.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Day shift

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), required for pushing contrast in Connecticut
• Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging, with a solid foundation in MRI protocols and patient positioning
• Familiarity with Siemens MRI systems is highly preferred
• ARRT certification in MRI is strongly desired
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans following physicians’ orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
• Administer contrast materials as required, strictly adhering to regulations and safety protocols
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment efficiently and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Consistently follow imaging protocols and document scan parameters accurately in electronic medical records
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging areas, including quality assurance checks on equipment
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
