Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic scans
  • Familiarity with imaging safety protocols and patient screening procedures
  • Knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and electronic medical records systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse patient populations
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Accurately position patients for optimal image capture and quality
  • Maintain and care for MRI equipment, reporting any issues promptly
  • Document procedures, observations, and scan results in patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, accurate diagnostic information
  • Adhere to all compliance, confidentiality, and safety standards
