Travel MRI Technologist in Waltham, MA

Schedule Options:

• 40 hours per week (2:30pm–11:00pm)
  • Week 1: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat
  • Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely perform MRI exams using state-of-the-art equipment across a multi-vendor platform.
• Prepare and position patients, set imaging parameters, conduct scans, and display images for review.
• Select imaging protocols and ensure quality assurance for all studies.
• Insert IVs as needed, administer MR contrast agents, and monitor for contraindications or adverse reactions.
• Instruct and ensure MRI safety compliance among patients and visitors.
• Perform and log equipment quality control and assist with department support tasks.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Program (certificate or diploma required; Associate’s preferred).
• BLS certification (to be completed within 90 days of hire).
• Advanced MR certification required within 12 months of hire (ARRT or ARMRIT).
